As-Salamu ‘Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.

As parents, you definitely worry about your teenagers’ future as do I as an Imam. As an Islamic teacher, I have been teaching our children for years, Alhamdu lillah. However, what I experience from my students that when they go to colleges and uni’s , they get exposed to so many non-Islamic principles and ideologies, and consequently distracted from their deen and Islamic values. Having a long observation of mine, I’ve found out these happen because of their lack in Islamic understanding. In Maktabs, our children memorise a few Soorahs, Hadiths and some other lessons but very few of them feel to put those lessons in their day to day practical life.

To overcome this and to instil the Islamic values in the teenagers’ growing minds, I am planning to start a two year Islamic (Pre-Alimiyyah) course which will help them understand the Deen from the very core Islamic texts and boost their attachment and love for Islam, Insha Allah.

—The course is designed for after-Maktab students ( 15– 17 year olds)
— The course will create a strong ground for Islamic knowledge
— The students will learn Arabic language— which will connect them to the Quran.
— The course will teach them the Islamic perspectives for the modern days’ issues
— This course will cover Tajweed from basic to advanced iA.
— The course will help them to understand the Fiqh with their evidences from the Quran & Sunnah.
— After this course, the students will learn how Quran was revealed and why it is the most genuine book on the surface of the earth.
— The students will also learn why the hadeeth is inseparably important in the religion of Islam.
— The learners will learn the Tafseer of the selected Soorahs and Ayahs of the Quran during this course iA.

— The classes will be on Saturdays: 2 hours a week.
